With Pref-Ex you get a solution to observe your Preferences Folder - not only in one session but in many. See which preferences has been modified since last refresh, which has been created. Reveal these preferences in Finder, delete them there... An improved interface gives you overview over your work. The timer function still exists in this function: auto-refresh of main window.
